2014: First lines of the code

A Russian IT specialist and a friend of Evgeniy Khaskelberg, General Director at Soft-Master LTD, once came to him and asked whether Soft-Mastr LTD could upgrade the network security system in a subsidiary structure of a large Russian manufacturing holding. The network infrastructure protection of the subsidiary was a FreeBSD-based solution with anti-virus software on 80 workstations. The update was required to meet the regulatory requirements of the holding concerning network security.

Budget constraints and the customer’s technical requirements have determined the need to maintain the FreeBSD solution with a significant expansion of its functionality. This is how we started creating a new product.

2015: Production environment deployment for a pilot project

New security solution was successfully deployed on the network of the Russian customer. The product easily integrated into the infrastructure, demonstrated stable operation and passed internal certification for compliance with the network security requirements of the holding's head office.

2015: First release and product launch

Soft-Master decided that the development should not be limited to a single implementation and developed the product further and offered it at the market.

2016: First commercial deployments of DePure NG

The product saw first commercial deployments in Russia and Israel. In the first months of 2016 we implemented 8 projects. By the end of the year, DePure NG was successfully operating in several educational institutions and hotels, two manufacturing enterprises and in the financial services sector.
